We are in the process of increasing our workshop offerings now that the Inn facility has been renovated. On the following pages you will find our current workshop listings. In addition, we are looking ahead to next fall, winter and spring. Some of the ideas that we're currently considering are: a workshop on grief and loss; a weekend which focuses on issues relating to sexual orientation; a Michigan Peace Team training; a weekend with Starhawk and David Miller; and more yoga (of course).
Other current local projects are the Casa Materna Collection Day and Earth Day (see the back page for details on both of these events), and our ongoing work with the Northern Michigan Environmental Action Council.
There is always more to do than we have time and energy for, so if you would like to help us at the Center please give us a call. We are looking for folks who could commit to 4-8 hours per month.
As always, we welcome your suggestions and feedback.
Some of you have been out to see the results--our wonderful new kitchen, complete with the restored Garland stove which was used in the old Inn; our spacious and spectacular yoga/meeting room; and our very own mudroom. We are thrilled with the final outcome and very happy to be in the home stretch with the renovation.
Once again, our deep thanks to all who helped with the project. To celebrate the new addition, we will host our annual Summer Solstice Celebration on June 21. Watch for details!
We are looking forward to a busy summer season at the Inn--come see us!
