Gatherings is the publication that replaced Synapse. It will be published as needed. We will be concentrating on providing good resource links for the articles in Gatherings. After reading the articles any links that you could suggest are welcome and will be added as we receive them. On January 11, 2003, about 400 people from northwestern
Michigan gathered at the Government Center in Traverse City
for a Community Peace Portrait. Many more people who oppose
the war either didn't hear about it, or weren't able to show
up. This photo was printed in an ad in the Record Eagle on
Saturday, January 18th, in solidarity with the thousands who
attended the peace march in Washington D.C. The ad was paid
for by the people in the photo, as well as folks who weren't
able to be there. This photo will be printed on the back
cover of the spring 2003 issue of YES!
