Neahtawanta Center goes to New Your City to attend the
Media and Democracy Congress II - October 16-18, 1997
Sally Van Vleck, Bronwyn Jones and Bob Russell, all members of the Neahtawanta Center Board, recently traveled to New York City to the Media and Democracy Congress II - October 16th-18th, 1997.
On Thusday, October 16th, 1997 people attending the Congress demonstrated againist the Media Monopolies. The demonstration was a march and rally starting in Times Square at the VIACOM's offices and moved down the avenue to Disney, NBC, CBS and FOX.
The next issue of Synapse, Winter 1997 - Number 42, will focus on media issues and reports from the Congress.
