This workshop is designed for people who have had some yoga experience, but will allow for varying degrees of flexibility, strength and endurance. Beginning with Friday evening dinner and finishing after Sunday brunch at noon, the workshop will include 8 hours of yoga sessions, including time for relaxation, meditation and discussion.

Sally has studied, practiced and taught yoga for 30 years. She brings her experience and a method of teaching that has evolved over the years, incorporating the wisdom and knowledge of her teachers: Joan Laird, Ganga White and Tracey Rich, Roger Eischens and Rod Stryker. It is a blending of Iyengar, basic Hatha Yoga, Tantra, Kundalini and High Energy Yoga (now known as Eischens yoga). Sally adds her particular flavor of teaching style, which consists of gentle suggestions, modeling all poses, minimal hands-on corrections, verbal guidance, and an emphasis on pranyama, bandhas (internal locks), longer holds in the poses and meditation. Her main philosophy is that the practice of yoga can and should be adapted to each individual’s needs; even though we practice in a group, the pose can look different depending on the person’s body, limitations, and condition. Through the practice of yoga, we can uncover our own true nature, and get in touch with our higher purpose while generating the energy to pursue it.
